My journey began during one of life’s busiest seasons—I was pregnant with my third baby, with a two-year-old on one hip and a four-year-old running circles around me. I knew I needed help. Not just any help, but the kind that would let me keep my newest little one close while still being hands-free for the chaos of motherhood. That’s when I started looking into baby carriers.
After endless Google searches and deep dives into parenting forums, I quickly realised that the top-recommended carriers came with top-shelf price tags. As a mum already juggling two little ones, spending hundreds on a carrier wasn’t realistic. So I turned to the second-hand market—hoping to find a gem at a gentler price.
But what I found was confusion. Listings were vague, photos were blurry, and I was left wondering: Was this carrier genuine? Was it safe? Was it clean enough to carry my precious new baby through the whirlwind of life as a mum of three? That’s when the idea for EmbracedBaby was born.
